Charter’s Guarantee and Limits of Liability

Limits of Liability on AS IS package

  • 3 Days or 250 miles after purchase
  • Charter will cover up to: $500 for a Check Engine Light

Limits of Liability on Silver package

  • 10 Days or 350 miles after purchase
  • Charter will cover up to: $1,250 for a Check Engine Light and $1,250 for any repairs on the preventative maintenances sheet

Limits of Liability on Gold package

  • 15 Days or 500 miles after purchase
  • Charter will cover up to: $1,500 for a Check Engine Light and $1,500 for any repairs on the preventative maintenance sheet

Limits of Liability on Platinum package

  • 20 Days or 750 miles after purchase
  • Charter will cover up to: $1,500 for a Check Engine Light and $1,500 for any repairs on the preventative maintenance sheet

*Note: For Silver, Gold and Platinum Limits of Liability for all items on the preventative maintenance inspection sheet will be replaced with parts of equal condition and will not be replaced with new parts. Any claim made on the preventative maintenance inspection must be made within the miles limit or within the days of purchase as well as the dollar amounts listed for each level above (whatever comes first). If a check engine light (CEL) comes on with a Silver, Gold or Platinum within the miles limit or within the days of purchase listed for each level above, Charter Trucks will help with repairs up to the listed dollar amounts for each level above. Any repairs must be done at a O.E.M shop approved by Charter Trucks. Charter Trucks will not participate in any repairs having to do with the Engine, Transmission, After-treatment Systems, and Rear Ends. Charter Trucks offers a chance to purchase an aftermarket warranty for those components at the time of sale.
