Beavertail Trailers (also known as drop deck trailers or dovetail trailers) have an end flap that can be adjusted to different angles based on the items you need to load, similar to lowboy trailers. A Beavertail trailer is typically 5′ in length sloping down and usually come with flip up ramp door that folds down for additional 4′ to 5′ of sloped ramping. This can be extremely useful if you’re a car hauler or loading other wheeled cargo. Most come with 2-3 axels pending on the heavy duty load you’re hauling. While the extra weight of the beavertail may pose an issue, the addition generally makes for easier loading and unloading, especially when you have a variety of equipment that needs hauling.

Charter Trucks is here to fulfill your needs with a variety of pre-owned beavertail and drop deck trailers. We know the importance of having reliable, efficient equipment when you’re on the long haul.

Charter Trucks is here to make the process simple, proficient, and honest. As much as we want to sell you great equipment, we also want to educate and inform your decision so that you can truly find a truck or trailer that matches your needs and eliminate the risks that come with buying something used. We do this by providing detailed pictures and videos of each truck. Before you even buy any piece of equipment, we encourage you to drive it, load it, and even take it to a third party for inspection.
